[Project] Delivery – Nancy Administrative City

Architecturestudio continues its transformation of the State’s administrative sites with the delivery of the new Nancy Administrative City, located in the heart of the former Thiry barracks (1769, Richard Mique).

By embracing a reuse-oriented approach, the project turns existing materials into valuable resources: former exterior woodwork has been given a second life as interior glazed partitions, bringing light and coherence to the entire space.

At the site scale, the parade ground has been fully renovated according to a “circularity” principle, featuring a central rain garden and stabilized-soil parking areas to enhance soil permeability, increase vegetation, and allow for the gradual conversion of parking spaces into a future garden.
