[Event] Inauguration of the “Tracé Bleu” exhibition at Tongji University, Shanghai.
On September 10, 2024, we had the honor of inaugurating the “Tracé Bleu” exhibition at the College of Architecture and Urban Planning (CAUP) of 同济大学 University in Shanghai.
This exhibition, organized by architecturestudio in collaboration with CENTQUATRE-PARIS, explores new ways of conceiving architecture and urbanism in the face of contemporary ecological, social and economic challenges.
Studio Krijn de Koning’s monumental installation blends architecture and sculpture to welcome visitors. Committed videos by Joanie Lemercier and Jonathas de Andrade address the relationship between man and nature, and denounce the ecological impacts of our civilization.
Serge Bloch’s witty drawings accompany and illustrate the major issues raised by Tracé Bleu.
The works of artist Cheng Xinhao, who offers an alternative vision of social and natural dynamics on the border between China and Vietnam.
Yongqi Lou, vice-rector of Tongji University and member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, Jiang Wu, vice-president of Tongji University and member of the Académie d’architecture de France, and Rene Henri Arnaud, associate architect of the agency, spoke at the event.
The speeches were followed by a guided tour by Romain Boursier, associate architect of Architurestudio.
