[Projects] Sotheby’s France Flagship

[Project] 83 rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré – A New Architectural Jewel for Sotheby’s

We are proud to announce the completion of Sotheby’s new flagship in Paris, an ambitious architectural project led by Architecturestudio.

Designed from the outset in close collaboration with the Sotheby’s France team, particularly with its president, Mario Tavella, this building combines innovation, flexibility, and respect for heritage in the heart of Paris, redefining the cultural and artistic experience.

“Openness, transparency, and conviviality” were the three guiding principles that the agency strived to embody with an avant-garde architectural concept. The project transforms a heritage building into an exhibition and sales space open to Avenue Matignon. With the atrium flooded in natural light, the suspended galleries offer direct views onto the auction room, creating a unique interaction across different levels.

By preserving the original architectural elements of the Galerie Bernheim Jeune and using sustainable, bio-based materials, we have achieved an ambitious rehabilitation that respects both heritage and the environment.

We are honored to have collaborated with Sotheby’s to design an architectural space where innovation meets heritage and where art is exceptionally showcased.

Open to all, we invite you to discover this unique place.
