[Project] The Benguérir University campus comes to life in Morocco

Designed around life and place, a symbiosis between architecture and nature, it embodies biophilic urbanism where humans are at the center of biodiversity, offering an inspiring and supportive environment for the development of knowledge and learning.

Phase I: Already delivered — 665 student housing units spread across 7 buildings, 99 studios for faculty in 2 buildings, and a lively green corridor featuring paddle courts, tennis, and basketball.

Phases II & III: In progress — Soon to include 286 additional student housing units (3 buildings), as well as La Canopée, the vibrant heart of the campus with a restaurant, shops, services, and parking.

The use of moucharabieh screens in the residential areas helps regulate light and heat, thereby reducing energy consumption and environmental impact.

Later phases will deliver 688 housing units (10 buildings) and new sports facilities: an athletics track, CrossFit spaces, tennis courts, and multisport areas.

Expected completion: 2025.
