Standing like a jewelry box on a prestigious Dubai avenue, the Seddiqi & Sons corporate headquarters accommodates a complete mix of activities, from management to sales, deployed in a continuous vertical landscape.
The new headquarters of Seddiqi & Sons LLC., the leading retailer of Swiss luxury watches in the Middle East, is located on the prestigious Sheikh Zayed Avenue in Dubai. The project seeks to showcase the luxury group through iconic architecture, conveyed by the shape of the building and the purity of its lines.
Based on a concept intended to accommodate both the public and the group’s executive services, the building prioritizes spaces and adapts to all visitors, offering each one a unique experience. The ground floor, open to the public, includes a museum, customer service facilities, watchmaking workshops and meeting rooms. The showroom has been designed to display the collections in the style of an art gallery. The first floor contains spaces opening onto a vast central atrium, the radiant heart of the project. The second floor accommodates the offices of the finance and marketing departments, the meeting rooms and the VIP lounges. The top third level is reserved for the luxurious offices and meeting rooms of the management.
The rectangular structure seems to float magnificently above a glass base, like a jewelery box. The central core allows natural light to filter on all the floors using a system of suspended glass panels. A double checkerboard cladding of hundreds of aluminum facets and recalling a watch strap, softens the light to the glass façades. The building was designed as a green structure covered with a protective screen and housing a vast green patio with tall trees, which, together with interior green spaces and hanging gardens, creates a continuous vertical landscape. In the bright nights of Dubai, the Seddiqi & Sons Headquarters is seen as a shining jewel, offering a unique experience for both lovers and professionals of the prestigious world of luxury watches.
