Made up of two distinctive centers, the international city and the residential area, it offers a complete network of streets, making it possible to effectively link the different sectors together. Within the islets, the treatment of the plot in opus insertum is inspired by the paving designed by the architect Pikionis, which surrounds the Acropolis.
Located at the foot of Mount Parnassus 20 kilometers North of Athens, the Olympic Village aims to requalify the city of Aharnai to build a new urban center.
It reconciles urbanity and efficiency, essential for the diversity of this large multi-activity center, while attaching great importance to the balance between public space, training areas and the landscape.
It also reconciles history and modernity by ensuring the opening of the Olympic Village to the plain of Athens and the Acropolis.
Finally, it reconciles all scales: from the landscape to avenues, from avenues to streets, from streets to alleys, from alleys to courtyards and housing.

In the heart of the village, which will host approximately 10,000 inhabitants in a post-Olympic manner, the international city, designed as a public square, is a belvedere over the entire site and the landscape.
This HQE village in a Mediterranean climate, combines energy management and water consumption, natural ventilation of spaces and protection against the sun by planting ornamental trees along the roads and promenades.
