Attractive, mixed-use urban complex comprising a hotel, offices and shops in the heart of the Marcory district of Abidjan, in the immediate vicinity of the lagoon.

The Akwaba complex is ideally located at the entrance to Marcory, the central town of Abidjan. With the arrival of the metro, it will form a link between Boulevard Valéry Giscard d’Estaing, the main road linking the airport to the Plateau business district, and Rue du Canal. The complex is part of a changing neighbourhood at the entrance to the city, well connected to the area, in the immediate vicinity of the lagoon and, slightly further away, the ocean. The plot dedicated to the project, adjacent to the hotel currently under development, offers the opportunity to develop a mixed programme, a complementary and attractive urban ensemble. In the centre, a large garden emerges, treated as a landscaped park on the scale of the block, linking all the volumes. Two buildings, R+7 and R+6, on the base are occupied by offices. Each level is made up of three floors and the central core contains the open-air corridors and staircases overlooking the façades. The garden base represents the heart of the project. It develops numerous plantations as well as a promenade in order to ensure the intimacy of the users and to offer a place rich in vegetation.
